Local Sites

Walking Tour of  Historic Homes Ridgway's "Lily of the Valley" National Historic Register District is an outstanding example of the lumber heritage that abounds in North Central Pennsylvania. The homes on this tour were built between 1855 and 1917. The tour is an outdoor tour, as the homes are all private residences or businesses. Take the tour by foot or car. Stop in the Elk County Historical Society and Robinson Museum to learn more about the region.  elkcountyhistoricalsociety.org

Short (and worthy) drives: Straub Brewery, Winery at Wilcox, Flickerwood Winery, Elk Mountain Winery, Kinzua Bridge State Park, Keystone Elk Country Visitor's Center

The Allegheny National Forest is our back yard!  Float the Clarion River walk or bike the Rails to Trails however you choose to explore get out and do it today. .

Japan One or Station 101 in DuBois (30 minute drive) 
A scenic 4o minute drive: Westline Inn, Westline  - a great mini road trip is to visit the Kinzua Bridge Skywalk and then head over to the Westline for a meal

Explore the Arts
